Dr. Lisa Douglas was born in Belgium but has spent the majority of her life exploring the Pacific Northwest. She studied at Oregon State university where she first earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Science with honors. She then went on to complete her degree in veterinary medicine at Oregon State’s veterinary school. Dr. Douglas came to Heartfelt Veterinary hospital in June of 2023, and is certified as a fear free and cat friendly practitioner through the American association of feline practitioners. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include animal behavior and diagnostic imaging. Dr. Douglas’ favorite part of the job is making the clinic a fun, stress free place for pets to get the care they need and the love they deserve. She spends her days off partaking in different dog sports with her own dog Annie, or finding new hikes to explore. On rainy days Dr. Douglas enjoys cuddling with her two cats at home.
